HIGH STREET 1. (south side) 5190 SZ 0278 4/107 26.6.52 No 273 (Hatton Cottage) II GV
2. Formerly 2 houses. Probably C18, may be of earlier origin. Purbeck Stone walls and roof. Stone chimney stacks. Two storeys and attic. Ground floor has 2 6-panel doors and 2 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The words "Hatton Cottage" cut on one of the lintels. First floor has 3 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. One dormer in attic with pent roof and casement window. RCHM Monument 48.
