The Old Vicarage
II
House former vicarage. Built 1792 - Diary of James Frampton - enlarged C19. Brick walls. Tiled roofs, some with stone eaves courses. Brick dentil cornice to eaves. Brick stacks. Two storeys and attics. Irregular plan following enlargement. Main garden (east) front has, on ground floor, three pairs of glazed doors with ornamental fanlights. First floor has three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Attic has two gabled dormers with double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Entrance, on west, has 6-panel moulded panel door with flat hood on carved console brackets. Double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on ground and first floors. Various built-up windows. Interior has several original panelled doors. Staircase landing has trellis-type balustrade. RCHM Monument 15.
