CORFE CASTLE STUDLAND ROAD SY 95 82 7/134 Railway viaduct for the former Wareham to Swanage Railway -
II
Railway viaduct. Dated 1885 on cartouche. Rock-faced squared rubble structure, with 4 round arches on square piers. Shallow buttresses to each pier. At each end, these buttresses extended upwards to just below parapet level. Simple shaped ashlar coping to parapet. Cartouche, with date, in C18 style fixed to central pier. Included for local historic interest and landscape value.
