SY 99 NW LYTCHETT MATRAVERS COLEHILL ROAD 3/101 West Park Farm House, including attached barn on north-west II Farmhouse with attached barn. Late Cl7 - early C18 origin, altered and enlarged in Cl9. House has brick walls, tiled roof, brick stacks with over- sailing caps on ridge. L-shaped plan. One storey and attics. Brick porch in angle of the 2 wings, with hipped tiled roof and part-glazed door. Main wing has, on ground floor, 2 casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has 3 gabled dormers with casements with glazing bars and ornamental bargeboards. Projecting wing at south-east end - probably Cl9 - of similar construction. On the end wall of this wing remains of an ironstone wall from a demolished - earlier - building. Internally, one stop-chamfered ceiling beam survives. Attached barn, probably C18, has brick walls and tiled roof. Large hipped cart porch. Roof has tie-beams and collars, and some diagonal braces. Listing NGR: SY9267096480
