Stone weir at the junction of the River Frome with the mill stream - apparently constructed to control flow of water to Bindon Mill (q.v.). Stone structure with nine pointed arches. Extended cutwaters on lower side. On upper side, remains of cutwaters below water level - also remains of stone paving on river bed. Water now retained at upper level by halved concrete pipes.
