CORFE CASTLE WEST STREET, KINGSTON SY 95 79 (North side) 6/184 Nos. 10, 12 and 14, including front boundary wall, (formerly listed as "Cottage next P.O. West Street", "Cottage next but one to P.O. West Street", and "Cottage two doors from P.O. West Street")

Terrace of 3 cottages. Probably late C18. Plastered walls, large buttress on front wall between Nos. 10 and 12. Stone slate roofs with crested tile ridge. Brick stack at left end, stone stack at right end, brick stack at junction of Nos. 10 and 12. 2 storeys. No, 10, at right end, has ledged door. Ground and first floors each have 2 casements with cast iron lattice glazing. Internally, evidence of large fireplace, part built up. No. 12 has 2-panel door. Ground and first floors each have 2 casements with cast iron lattice glazing. No. 14, at left end, has ledged door. Ground floor has 2 casements with glazing bars. Attic has one pent-roofed dormer with similar casements. Front boundary wall of rubble stone with part flat, part cock and hen coping. May have originated as one house - plans not identical.
