East Farm House
II
Farm house. Probably early C19. Appears of two builds. Colourwashed brick walls, with dentil cornice at eaves. Stone gable wall. Tiled roof, brick stacks. Two storeys. Panelled door in gabled trellis porch, with ornamental bargeboards. Ground floor has two canted bay windows with slate roofs and double-hung sashes, also two casement windows with glazing bars. First floor has three doube-hung sash windows and two casements, all with glazing bars. Lean-to extension on west, with hipped tiled roof. Rear wall partly of stone. Two storeyed lean-to extension with slate roof. Projecting two-storeyed wing with hipped tiled roof, and single-storey tiled lean-to all these appear later additions.
