Detached cottage. At right angles to road. Late C17 - early C18. Brick walls, half-hipped thatched roof, brick stacks with oversailing caps. 2 storeys. Main south elevation has brick porch with tiled gabled roof and round arched opening Ground floor has three casement windows with glazing bars. First floor has two similar windows. Lean-to extension on east, of brick, with tiled roof. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintol. RCHM Monument 20.
