Detached cottage. Probably C18 - may be of earlier origin. At right angles to road. Plastered cob walls, thatched roof, brick stacks. Two storeys. Single- storey barn extension on north, under thatched catslide roof. Front wall buttressed. Modem lean-to porch. Ground floor has two casement windows with glazing bars. First floor has three similar casements. Recent addition on south, single storey, has plastered walls, thatched roof and casement windows. RCHM Monument 5.
