Parish church. C12 origin, considerably restored and rebuilt C19. Stone walls, stone slate roof. Simple single-cell plan, with south porch, and C19 vestry at west end. Open stone bell-turret over west gable. No windows in north wall - south and east windows C19, in Gothic style. South porch, C13, has two-centred arch, and wrought iron gates. South door C12, with roll mouldings to arch and imposts, and chamfered label mould. Internally, roof C19. C12 circular stone font on later base. Several C18 wall tablets. Churchyard monuments mainly C19. Few C18 headstones. Low stone boundary wall. RCHM Monument 1.
