Description
CHURCH KNOWLE GRANGE ROAD SY 98 SW WEST SIDE 8/55 Dorey's Cottage - II Detached house. Date stone on porch 1857, but appears of earlier origin. Rubble stone walls, slate roof, brick end stack. South gable wall plastered. 2 storeys. 2-storeyed front porch, gabled, has stone round-arched doorway, with ledged door. Above this a casement window under stone moulding. Ground and first floors each have 2 casement windows with glazing bars. Lean-to at north end. Rear extension 2-storeyed with flat roof, contains bread oven connected to main fireplace.
