CHURCH KNOWLE CHURCH KNOWLE VILLAGE SY 9381 12/48 The Lower Barracks GV II Terrace of 3 (formerly 4) cottages. Probably mid C19. Rubble stone walls, slate roofs with coped gables and stone eaves courses. Brick stacks on ridge. 2 storeys. Central open passageway to rear. No 1 has entrance in small link building attached to New Inn. No 2 has part-glazed door and No 3 a ledged door. Ground floor has 6 casement windows with glazing bars, under projecting stone lintels. First floor has 4 similar windows without projecting lintels. Front boundary wall of stone, with rough coping, stone piers and simple iron gates. Included for group value.
