Terrace of 3 cottages. No. 26, C17, Nos. 24 and 25 probably C18. Plastered cob walls, thatched roofs, brick stacks on ridge. One storey and attics. No. 24 at right end, has ledged door in C20 timber porch. Ground floor has one casement window with horizontal glazing bars. Attic has one dormer with similar casements. Brick lean-to extension at right end, with ledged door. No. 25, in centre, has part-glazed door. Ground floor has 3 casement windows, 2 with horizontal glazing bars. Attic has one dormer with similar casements. Internally, main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintol - part built up. One chamfered ceiling beam. No. 26 at left end, has ledged door. Ground floor has one casement window. Attic has one dormer with casements with glazing bars. Lean-to extension at left end, on old stone base, with corrugated asbestos roof. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace, part built up. Several chamfered ceiling beams with ornamental bar stops. Roof timbers show signs of smoke-blackening. A National Trust property. RCHM Monument 10 (Dorset Vol. II).
