Offices. Mid C19. Rendered, ashlar ground-floor, stone dressings, axial stacks and a slate mansard roof. Italianate style. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys and attic; 6-window range. A symmetrical front has a refaced ground floor with paired pilasters to each bay, separated in the centre by a shallow panel and with sunken apron panels, to an entablature and cornice; first-floor round-arched arcade with archivolts connected by an impost band; second-floor cill band, deep cornice and blocking course. Steps up to outer round-arched doorways with panelled doors and fanlights. Plate-glass sashes, second-floor 3/6-pane sashes, one in from each end blind. 4 dormers with 2/2-pane sashes. INTERIOR largely remodelled but noted as having some original features including joinery and right-hand open-well stair with alternate rod and turned balusters.
