Road bridge, probably medieval, rebuilding dated 1666, probably again altered C18. Squared rubble and ashlar, of 4 pointed arches with weathered string above. Arches have chamfered arrises. Stone parapet walls. Partly in the parish of Horton. (Scheduledas an ancient monument, M135) (RCHM, Dorset, vol. V, p.35/6, no.2.)
