Listed Building: STONE PARK (107297)

1. 5193 PAMPHILL SAINT MARGARET'S HILL (South-west Side) Stone Park ST 90 SE 3/44 2.11.82 SU 00 SW 4/44 II 2. Early C19, in Regency style. Plastered walls, slate roofs, plastered stacks. Part 2-storeys, part -storeys. Entrance in north front. Centre block of 3 storeys. Two-storeyed side wings set back from this. Single-storey flat roofed extension (rebuilt) in front of the whole range. Pair of glazed entrance doors in centre, with a tall window on each side. In centre block, first and second floors each have three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The 2-storeyed side wings have parapets with simple moulded cornices and circular- headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Single-storey block on east, former billiard room, now converted to garages. On the south-garden-front the centre block has hipped roof. The side wings have bowed fronts, and parapets as on north. Moulded string course at first floor level across whole front. In centre block, ground floor has a pair of french doors with stepped glazing and ornamental fanlight. Also two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. First and second floors each have three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. In each of the side wings, ground floor has a pair of french doors similar to those in the centre block, flanked by double-hung sash windows with stepped glazing. First floor has three double-hung sash windows, the centre one with glazing bars and bordered panes, the outer ones with stepped glazing. Garage range to east has two circular-headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Internally the main ground floor rooms have good ornamental cornices, ceiling roses and carved architraves in Rococo Gothick style. A good C19 house. Listing NGR: SU0000200383
