House, part used as Post Office. Mid-C19. Brick walls; tiled roof with moulded bargeboards to gables. Brick stack just left of centre with 2 diagonally set shafts in ornamental brickwork. One storey and attic. Ledged door, in pointed arched opening with quatrefoil opening over, under steep pitched gabled hood on timber framing and brackets. Ground floor has 2 casements with glazing bars under segmental arches. Attic has 3 gabled dormers with moulded bargeboards, timber framing in gables, and casements with glazing bars. Rear wing in matching construction. Included for group value and unspoiled Victorian character.
