2. Early C19. Red brick with grey headers, once painted. Wide eaves with bracketed cornice and slate roof with hipped gables over side advanced wings of 1 bay each. 2 storeys. 4 windows in all, sashes and casements 1st floor, some with glazing bars. Ground floor barred sashes set in double brick recesses, round arched and with triple keystones. Round arched porch eastern facade.
Purewell farmhouse forms a group with the War Memorial, Burton Road.
