Listed Building: CLIFTON COTTAGE (101641)

SALISBURY ROAD 1. (East Side) 5187 Clifton Cottage SZ 19 NE 9/375 II GV 2. Probably originally Cl8/early C19 and possibly part of same terrace as St Anne's and Kimbolton Cottage (q.v). Altered in later C19 and later. Red brick with grey brick headers, Modern tiled roof with gable at south end. 2 storeys. 2 windows, generally sashes with stuccoed lintels and arched lights. 2 storey brick bay at south side, and door at north side in brick porch with iron balustrade above. Grade II for group value. Holmefield College Winkton Lodge Cottage, St Anne's and Kimbolton Cottages, Clifton Cottage, Greenhayes and Bumble Bee Cottage form a group with Monks Revel and Gosfield Cottages opposite.
