2. 187l, G E Street, carved by T W Earp. Octagonal plinth with pedestal verts on 3 steps. Octagonal base has 4 sculptured panels (Nativity, Crucifixion, Ascension, Martyrdom of St Peter) alternating with lower foliage panels. Ribbed shaft on moulded base has foliage capital supporting boldly foliated cross with central boss.
The Church of St Peter, Churchyard Cross, Lychgate, Chapel of the Resurrection, and 2 groups of gravestones form a group.
