2. Designed and carved by William Brindley (of Farmer and Brindley), member of congregation, in memory of Rev C S Towle, died 1908. Rectangular stem with foliage trail carving. Heed has sculptured groups under canopied niches.
Church of St Clement, with Churchyard Cross and Graves, Vicarage Walls, St Clement School, Schoolhouse and No 12A, form a group.
