2. Edwardian villa, now part of St Peter's RC School, circa 1905, Perhaps by Joseph Brewerton. Rustic classical style in tall compact 3-storey block, brown roughcast on smoothe white plinth, tiled roof. Casement windows with white-painted timber mullions all with shaped metal aprons. Garden front (south) almost symmetrical: central gable with 4-light ground floor window, 5-light 1st floor window and lunette in attic, 3-light windows on either side. West end of single window width : 3-light, 3-light and 2-light in gable. Projecting gable to north with entrance porch diagonally across angle (lunette over door). Tower-like corner erections rising above eaves, these and the chimneys have moulded cornices.
