ST 7317 STALBRIDGE HIGH STREET (EAST SIDE) York House (formerly listed as house 12 yds south of Rectory)

House, c1800, but may have an earlier core. Coursed rubble, tiled roof with stone end stack, some brick dressings. 3 storey, 3-bays. To the right is a 2-storey canted bay (probably a late C19 addition) with sash windows. To the left is a 3-light C19 sash window with no glazing bars. All other windows are single sashes with no glazing bars set in moulded frames. Lintels are of wood. The front door is set slightly to the right of centre.
