Description
1. 865 EAST STREET (South Side) No 47
ST 8806 1/24 27.10.50. II GV 2.
Post-1731 to mid C18. 5-window front, 2-storey and attic. Usual brickwork. Mansard roof, 3 dormers. Coved eaves cornic. 1st floor sash windows have triple keystones and brick aprons. Some glazing-bars altered. On ground floor 1 window has been converted into doorway. On right hand is a fine double bowed mid C19 shop-front with moulded pilasters and twisted mullions.
Nos 45 to 59 (odd) form a group.
