Late C18 to early C19. Main front faces South East on to garden. 5 storey,
4-bay front, the uppermost storey probably added later. Formerly with
thatched roof, now slated. Sash windows without glazing bars except in
narrow window in 2nd bay from the left hand end. Small 2-light casement
windows in attic storey, Two 4-panelled doors, left hand one with fanlight.
Entrance from street through round-headed archway in single storey extension
to west. 6 fielded panelled door. 1 window with glazing bars intact in
street front which is also of stone rubble. [Old photograph in possession
of owner shows house with thatched roof].
