GV II
House, early C18 with C18 and C19 alterations. Chequered greensand
and flint with ashlar dressings. Gabled, tiled roof with end brick
stacks. Symmetrical. 2 storeys, 5-window range. 2:1:2. Sashes
with glazing bars. Ground floor openings have segmental heads.
Doorway with broken segmental pediment on consoles, and stone
architrave. Internal features (RCHM): mainly 1870 or later except
for chimney piece of c.1750, reset.
