Lodge, c.1830. Rendered and whitewashed with a pyramidal slate roof and central
rendered stack. Single storey, 3 window range with additional small flanking
pavilions. 2-light casements with glazing bars. Central part-glazed door.
South, east and west fronts have an open loggia on slender Doric columns. Lodge
to the former Langton House, now demolished. (RCHM, Dorset, vol. IV, p.44, no.5.)
