ST 8806 BLANDFORD FORUM DORSET STREET NOS 45-57 (odd nos) 1/164II II Row of seven houses in terrace. Early to mid C19 Flemish bond brickwork, slate mansard roofs. Two storeys and attic, each house one window width; all 2-light small pane wood casements, at ground floor to cambered arches and at first floor to half-brick soldier arches. Each house with 2-light flat-roofed dormer window. All doors original four panel flush; between Nos 51 and 53 an open through-way. Back of the properties also appear practically completely as built with windows as front, but all to cambered heads, and three dormers only. Series of brick stacks to main ridge, and small square stacks near back eaves line. Rendered plinth; many blue headers in brickwork. A modest but remarkably unmodified terrace.
