Description
1. 1615 HIGH STREET (North Side) No 16 Nos 18 & 18A
ST 8622 2/47 II GV 2.
Early C19. One 3-storey red brick block. 4 windows to No 16; bay at right hand end is recessed and has one 3-light sash window to each floor. Slight curve to frontage in Nos 18 and 18A which have 1 bay each. Moulded eaves cornice. Sash windows with rubbed brick arches and with glazing bars intact. Wide modern plate glass shop front to No 16; Nos 18 and 18A have small modern plate glass shop fronts in mid to late C19 casing [pilasters, fascia and moulded cornice].
Nos l2 to 26 (even) and No 26A form a group with "The Butt of Sherry" Wine Bar and premises occupied by The Midland Bank, The Commons.
