Description
1. 865 SALISBURY STREET (East Side) Nos 82 & 84
ST 8806 1/108 II GV 2.
3-storey 4-window stucco pair of similar date but plainer in detail. Moulded cornice. Parapet. Doorways originally had moulded pilasters and deep rectangular fanlights; panelled reveals. Doorcase to No 84 in poor repair; doorcase to
No 82 has been removed. Glazing bars intact. (Nos 76 to 88 (even) are examples of an early C19 style which, although common elsewhere, is rather rare in Blandford)
Nos 70 to 88 (even) form a group.
