Parish church, C13 chancel with C18 alterations, nave and south
tower/porch 1840. Squared, coursed rubble with ashlar dressings.
Nave roof is slated with stone copings, chancel roof stone slated
with stone copings. South chancel has to the left a C14 2-centred
window with cusped, Y-tracery of 2-lights. Right is a trefoiled
lancet. Between is a door with a chamfered, 2-centred head. To the
north are 2 plain lancets. East window is C18 (RCHM), of 3-lights
with coarse panelled tracery under a square head with returned label.
The nave windows are C19 lancets. Single stage, embattled tower with
lancet bell openings with pierced iron panels. South porch has
chamfered, 2-centred archway with returned label. Internal features:
2-centred, chamfered chancel arch with continuous jambs; 4-centred
section, panelled ceiling with moulded ribs and wall plates; chancel
has barrel vault with moulded ribs; C19 west gallery with cusped,
carved panelling; C13 font with octagonal bowl on round pier with
subsidiary shafts; trefoiled piscina in chancel; C17 panelled pulpit
with guilloche frieze; C16 carved panelling reset in gallery and
vesting cubicle; C18 floorslab; other features largely Cl9.
