Row of 4 cottages, now 3 cottages. Probably mid C18. Rendered and white or
colourwashed walls with gable-ended, thatched roof. Brick stacks at various
intervals along the ridge. 2 storeys, 7 irregular window range. No. 53 has
C19 sashes with vertical glazing bars. Plank door to left with small square
window to extreme left. No. 54 has casements with horizontal glazing bars and
a plank door near centre. No. 55 has 2 wrought-iron casements with leaded
lights of 3 lights to the left and of 2 lights to the right. To the right of
these is a plank door with a flat hood on reused carved consoles. To the
right of the range is a 2 light casement. Above are 3 C19 6-pane sashes.
