Pair of cottages. c1780. Plastered cob walls, hipped thatched roofs, brick
end stacks. 2 storeys. Ledged door with glass panel. Ground floor has 2
cross-pattern windows with lead lights. First floor has 3 casements with
lead lights. No.51, the former dairyman's house, has a brick extension at
rear, with tiled roof and a C20 former - probably an old outbuilding converted
to part of cottage. RCHM. Monument 7. (Dorset. Vol.III)
