Dovecot, now ornamental summerhouse. Date of origin uncertain, possibly medieval,
rainwater head dated 1675, extensively remodelled c 1800. Circular structure of
coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, conical tiled roof with weather vane some
brick dressings. South doorways and windows have segmental pointed heads, north
window of 2-light under 2-centred head. The upper storey has a clock which,
according to the RCHM is of late C18 or early Cl9. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III," p 140,
