Cottage, of more than one build, probably early and late Cl7. Coursed rubble walls, thatched roof, half-hipped left and hipped right. Brick stacks to left of door and at end of ridge right. l« storeys,
irregular fenestration. Variety of windows: ground floor left are restored, 2-light with stone mullions; some C17 timber mullioned windows; 1, 2 and 3-light casements, some with glazing bars and some with leaded-lights. Various blocked doors and openings. Internal features: deep stop-chamfered ceiling beams; beaded plank and muntin partitions with some original doors; fireplaces with chamfered jambs and bressummers; ceiling with intersecting beams and wall-plates. Original plan is difficult to determine; may have been two tenements and possibly had a cross-passage.
