Description
1. 865 EAST STREET (South Side) Nos 63 & 65
ST 8806 1/29 27.10.50. II GV 2.
Post-1731 to 1750, circa. 4 window front, 2-storey and attic. 2 nipped dormers. Usual brickwork. Dentil eaves cornice. Sash windows to 1st floor, Continuous moulded. hood above shop-fronts which have oriel bay windows, partly altered, but C19 in origin. Passageway between the two.
Nos 61 to 73 (odd) form a group with National Westminster Bank, Lloyds Bank,
Nos 6 and 10 to 26 (even) and the Red Lion Public House and Outbuildings.
