GV II
House in row. Early C19. Large cut squared stone block, hipped slate roof behind rendered parapet. Three storeys, 1-windowed. 4-pane sashes. To left is 6-panel part-glazed door in porch with rendered cheeks and flat slab top. Plinth is continuous with No 28 (qv), but there is a straight joint generally between these two properties, suggesting a possible rebuild. Tall brick stack to right. RCHM says "No 30 has been heightened". (Royal Commission on Historical Monuments: Dorset: London: 1970-: 256).
