A thin cornice, blocking-course and coped parapet. No stacks are visible, and the roof has a small lead upstand roll at the party division. To the rear of No.5, in St Mary Street, is a 2-storey late C19 display front; the ground floor has been replaced with a late C20 insert, but the upper level has the original glass and cast-iron detail, in 3 lights, the full width, with very slender mullions, very flat 4-centred heads, and 6 paired transom lights under a deep fascia and dentil cornice. The slender pilasters, with cappings and necking-bands, continue to the ground floor. This type of double-height front is commonly associated with hardware stores in the later C19.
