House at end of row, with shop, returning with long frontage to St Thomas Street at the approach to Town Bridge (qv). Early C19. Rendered, slate roof. 3 storeys and attic; the St Edmund Street frontage has two 9-pane sashes in plain reveals over an 8:12:8-pane oriel bow with dentil cornice, and a multi-pane late C20 shop front under continuous fascia. The long return front is in 5 windows; there are 2 early 6-pane sash flat-roofed dormers above 9-pane sashes at second floor, but the first one a blind opening, and C20 plain casements to the first floor. The multi-pane display front carries across the frontage, with 6 piers, with a central C20 doorway, and to the right a 4-panel door with radial fanlight, in channelled walling. A thin moulded cornice to blocking course and coped parapet, with hipped roof. INTERIOR: not inspected.
