House in row, with shop. Early to mid C19. Rendered, concrete tile mansard roof. 3 storeys and attic, 2 windows; C20 flat-roofed dormers above 4-pane sash in deep plain reveals to a bold sill band. At first floor are 2 canted 8:12:8-pane sash oriels, and there is a full-width C19 shop front with recessed former doorway to the left, now with window and a transom light, and a central door with transom light between 2- and 3-light vertical panes with very thin glazing bars and small return lights, all under a bold moulded cornice and fascia. A plain coped parapet, and a stack to the right. The plain rear wall has various lights, and a flat-roofed extension. INTERIOR: not inspected. (RCHME: Dorset, South-East: London: 1970-: 350).
