Public house. Early C19 with late C19 ground floor front. Rendered, slate roof. 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows; at second floor 12-pane sashes in reveals on stone sills, above an 8:12:8-pane bow oriel with dentil cornice and a 12-pane. Ground floor has a full-width front in green faience tile, with deep sloping fascia to a dentilled cornice stopped to large decorative consoles, pilasters and window stall-risers, containing 2- and 3-pane windows, a door to the left, and blocked pair to the centre all with transom lights, and on a deep faience sill-mould; to the left is a cellar access hatch. Moulded cornice, blocking course and coped parapet, and a stack to the right. INTERIOR: not inspected. (RCHME: Dorset, South-East: London: 1970-: 350).
