STRATTON SY 69 SE DORCHESTER ROAD (North side) 26.1.56 7/104 Chapel Cottage (formerly listed as cottage 120 yds E.N.E. of church)
II Detached Cottage. Mid C18. Knapped flint walls with brick quoins, rendered upper storey. Thatch roof with gable ends. Brick stack extruding on left hand end wall, original. C19 rebuilt brick stack on right hand gable. 2 storeys 2 windows, mixture of 2-light wooden casements with glazing-bars. Front door slightly left of centre, plank C19. Continuous outshut at rear with rounded wall at north-east corner, flint rubble and chalk cob walling, thatch roof over. Rear door, plank with brick jambs.
