GV II Detached Cottage. Early C18. Banded flint and stone walls, stone quoins, rendered on south wall. Thatch roof with gable-end at left hand and hipped at right hand. C20 brick stack at left hand gable. 2 storeys. 2 windows, 3-light (left) and 2-light (right) wooden casements, wooden cills and lintels, renewed C20. Porch on east wall, right of centre, C20 weatherboarded with pentice slate roof over. C20 door with one glass light. "RCHM, Dorset I", p 116 (8).
