NEWLAND 1. 1625 (South Side) No 62 [Ambleside]
ST 6416 2/206 II GV 2.
Early C19 2 storey 3 window front. Slate roof. Ashlar front. Ashlar string between floors; ashlar pilasters with panelled caps; plinth sash windows, 3 panes wide above and 4 panes wide below. Doorway has moulded archivolt and reeded imposts; fanlight; 6-panelled door.
Nos 60 to 68 (even) form a group with Nos 2 to 4 (consec) and wall and gate piers to west of No 2 Newland Gardens.
