Hammer dressed stone. 2 ranges, one of 4 storeys, and with 5 ranges of 3-light casements with glazing bars; the other of 3 storeys, with 3 ranges of 2-light segment-headed casements. Doorways in centre of each range with winch hoists above. Range of stables and outhouses to south-east: red brick. Together with the gatehouse, Wykes Court (North Street) and the range of buildings to the south of Wykes Court garden, they form an unusual industrial complex of which Wykes Court was presumably the managers house.
