2. C16 or C17. Hammer dressed stone. Modern pantile roof. C18 red brick stacks. Coped gable on moulded kneelers at right hand. 2 storeys. Nos 135 and 139 retain 4 stone mullioned windows with a hollow chamfer and lead glazing bars. Nos 133 and 135 have sashes with glazing bars on ground floor. No 137 has wood mullioned casements. No 133 also has wood mullioned casements with lead glazing bars. 2 hoodmoulds on ground floor. Nos 135 and 137 have doors with chamfered 4-centred arches, No 135's with hoodmould. Doorway of No 135 leads into a transverse passage, of which the doors at both ends are contemporary, planked and bolted, with contemporary iron hinges. Interior: Ground floor has fine stone-flagged floors. Contemporary timber partitions in ground floor of No 135. C18 niche cupboard in ground floor end room of No 133. Early C19 marble fireplace in ground floor room of No 133. Contemporary planked and bolted door with original hinges to stairs of No 133. Contemporary planked and bolted door with original hinges and pointed arched frame on 1st floor of No 133, leading into room with contemporary timber partitions. Another similar door to upper stairs. This may have been a single house before it was divided into cottages. It is of a type relatively common in the villages around Bridport, but unique in the town.
