Description
NETHER COMPTON ST 5917 NETHER COMPTON VILLAGE 13/62 Barn 20 metres east of Lower Dairy Farmhouse GV II Barn. Dated over main entrance 1742. Rubble stone walls. Roman-tile roof with stone gable-copings. Two storeys, internally. Main entrance towards house has a segmental head with stone voussoirs. No doors. Right of this a large open diamond pattern of pigeon-holes. Openwork foliate motif at centre. Two-light C20 casement. C20 plank door. Plank door on end wall. Interior: has solid masonry walls either side of the main entrance, with doorways.
