SY 7685-7785 OWERMOIGNE CHURCH LANE (south side) 14/41 26.1.56 Moigne Cottage (formerly listed as House 15 yds SE of West Farmhouse) GV II
Detached cottage. Mid C18. Coursed rubble and random rubblestone walls. Thatch roof, with gable ends. Brick stacks at gable ends. Two storeys, 3 windows, first floor 3 : 2 : 2 light wood casements with glazing-bars. Wood cills and lintels. Front door, right of centre, flush-panelled, C19. Thatch porch canopy over carried on wood posts. (R.C.H.M. Dorset II, p. 186 (6)).
