SILVER STREET 1. 1357 (South West Side) Rosehill
SY 3392 3/207 II GV 2.
Early C19. 2 storeys. Hipped slate roof. Stuccoed front. Front facing north-east on to garden of 3 window bays, sash windows with glazing bars above; 2 sash windows on ground floor and a French casement at right hand end. Glass verandah on trellised supports extends before ground floor and returns along south-east side. Entrance to house in north-west side; flight of steps leads up to a 6-panelled door within trellised porch; round headed staircase window to right of doorway.
The Little Place and the north-east boundary wall, Rosehill and the garden wall, Burley, the 01d Vicarage, the former stable block and the garden wall to Burley and Old Vicarage, West Hill and the garden wall, together with the Roman Catholic Church of St Michael and St George, and the Dorset Hotel, Pound Road form a group.
