Description
LONG STREET 1. 1625 (South-East Side) Nos 1 and 2 Eastbury Cottages
ST 6416 2/161 28.11.50. II GV 2.
Probably late C17 with later roughcast front and patent pantile roof with cresting. 2 storeys. Each house is 2-window with uniform 3-light wood casements. Chamfered quoins. Stone plinth. Doorways are linked under single hood and have reeded pilasters and shaped brackets. Long low proportions; windows attractively spaced. Panelling internally.
St Swithin's Cottage, Outbuilding to South-west of Eastbury Hotel, Eastbury Hotel and Nos 1 and 2 Eastbury Cottages form a group.
